Shakugan no Shana QIX (灼眼のシャナQIX?) is mobile application arcade game developed by Taito. It is based on Taito's classic game Qix, so the rules and gameplay of the game are the same.[1] Downloading the game costs 315 yen, including tax.[2]

The objective of Qix is to fence off, or "claim", a supermajority of the playfield while avoiding the Qix — a sticklike entity that performs graceful but unpredictable motions within the confines of the rectangle. The player makes lines and when they create a quadrilateral shape, it becomes colored. The player clears the stage is they capture 75% of the rectangular playing field. When the stage is cleared, the player may receive an illustration or comments. The comments received depends on the amount of field the player is able to capture. The illustrations and comments that the player has received can be viewed separately in Album Mode.

While playing a stage, when the player wins position in the game, moe artwork of Shana and other characters can be seen through the shapes created.[3]
