Entangled Feelings (絡まる想い Karamaru Omoi?) is the tenth episode of the anime series Shakugan no Shana. It explores the feelings of Shana and Yuji amidst the arrival of a Rinne. Meanwhile, Misaki City receives some newcomers in the form of three Crimson Denizens named Sorath, Tiriel and Sydonay.

One morning, as usual, Yuji's training is not going so well. In the training Yuji got stuck in basket and tore his pants after teasing Shana for never winning Rock-Paper-Scissors game with him, causing her to become embarrassed and she starts whacking Yuji which none of the attacks hits him.

After Yuji ends the training by himself, Shana heard from Chigusa Sakai, Yuji's mother that maybe Yuji is embarrassed by Shana because he lost to her, who is cute and someone that he cares the most. On their to school, after thinking about what Yuji's mother said to her, Shana said that she wants to up the level by creating a Fuzetsu after school. Shana encourages Yuji to continue training so that he would not be ashamed of himself.

At school, Eita and Sato are discussing about Margery Daw's condition. The conversation was heard by Matake Ogata. Not long after that, Ike invited her to eat together with his friend and him. On the table where Matake eat together with Ike and his friends, each of them including Shana tasted Yoshida's own homemade pudding.

Not long after that, a representative from the student council calls for the librarians, who are Matake and Ike, to help out on getting the new books on the shelf. However, Matake has to go and visit her grandmother with her family and Ike is trying to give change for Yoshida and Yuji to be together. So, the job is left to Yuji and Yoshida. However, Yuji's business with the student council doesn't allow him to have time to train and Shana's jealousy towards Yuji being together with Yoshida caused her gets angry at him, and walks out from the class and argues with Yuji.

Shana had homemade pudding by Yuji's mother and had dinner with his mother when Yuji and Yoshida are helping out in the library. After wondering the way to find a topic to talk since the time when they were in the library, Yoshida mentioned that Yukari (who is actually Shana) is an amazing person who has a full mark on her test and is good in sports (this information is obtained by overheard the speech between the two students). Yuji agrees with with her and says no words to her anymore.

When Yuji arrives home and opens the door, he sees Shana, wearing his mother's old clothes and his mother is waiting for him. When they reached Mana River, Shana opened the Fuzetsu for training before Yuji finshes his speech but Yuji makes an excuse that it is late in the night and left. It leaves Shana feeling bad and confused, wishing that a Crimson Denizen or a Flame Haze comes by to fight in order for Yuji to get serious with training.

Next day, another Rinne appears in Misaki City and opens a Fuzetsu. It is sensed by Shana and Margery but Margery does not come to fight it. On her way, she was wondering why Yuji didn't come with her on this trip. In the Fuzestsu, Alastor suspects that the Rinne had lost his master and will disappear in a few days time after looking at the Rinne's miserability. The Rinne later on reveals that his master is dead indirectly. Shana kills it with ease and Yuji comes to Shana after wondering for a very long time.

When Yuji arrives at the scene, Shana had already killed the Rinne. Shana cries in Yuji's arms and asks Yuji to become stronger for her after the fight. Meanwhile, Sorath is beaten up a bunch of gangsters. Later, he kills them with a sword and eats them after Tiriel cames by. The both of them then kissed and exchanged the Power of Existence. Sydonay saw them kissing from afar and introduces Sorath and Tiriel as "Aizenta" (愛染他?, lit. One-Indulged-in-Love-of-Other) and "Aizenji" (愛染自?, lit. He-Who-Loves-Himself).
