Inconsistancies on the anti-fire barrier?[]

How did it save yuji from the tenpa jyousai, but shana was able to break through it at the end with fire attacks? A couple attacks that got though was clearly physical in nature, but she was able to take it down with a pure fireblast once or twice- is this explained in the light novels or manga?  The spell inside the ring[]

About the latest revisions... The current version makes it sound like the spell that Lamies gathered PoE for to restore the painting is inside the Ring, but I think that is a different spell altogether.

Lamies/Leanan-sidhe gave Yuuji the spell to "restore something that was once lost", and he used it to restore everyone's power of existence and even revived burned-out torches with it (Hirai).

But the spell carved inside Azure is different, as it is used to give something an existence that previously had none, like that Rinne Marianne. Kissing Shana activated the spell and gave Yuuji an existence without the fear of burning out anymore. I don't know what that means exactly, but I'm sure he didn't turn back to being human (being able to fly and fight and immortality and all that jazz). MakiBun (talk) 10:53, May 26, 2013 (UTC)

Going from your logic and my opinion, yes, I think the two are different spells. And at the end, Yūji is not human. Please, change the article accordingly, I'm not that well versed on the subject of Azure, but I think you are right. --Aassdddai talk 11:16, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
Actually, judging from the conversation between Lamies and Yūji in Final episode 24, it is the same spell that Lamies put it in a long time ago and he just changed the conditions of its activation to the kiss. --Aassdddai talk 11:22, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
Yes, that's what I gathered as well, and I think it was also confirmed on animesuki by someone who read the novels. The spell was inside that ring since long before Friagne got his hands on it. When he did, he tried to use it to turn his Rinne into an actual existence. I was just saying that it's not the same spell as the one he used to get his/her painting back. I'll see how to phrase it and then change the article accordingly. MakiBun (talk) 12:22, May 26, 2013 (UTC)
